I had tried only Fried Fish & Chips and Fish Bread Rolls from entrée. The fried fish and chips have good crunch and enough fish in the filling. But it is breaded fried fish not beer battered one and also tested more like ‘Bengali Fish fry’. As a lover of that typical fish fry I keep ordering them.
But the big disappointment was Fish Bread Roll which I had ordered expecting fish filled bread rolls. The result was hilarious actually. They stuffed small pieces of fish fry between buttered pav with onion slices. (Seriously!! How could one do that?)
As I’m going there for almost three years I had tried many of their sizzlers. In my opinion their tenderloin sizzlers are better than chicken and fish (never tried prawn) so now I’ve settled only with steaks. Steaks are always tender, succulent and beautifully cooked. Specially Steak with Pepper Sauce; the sauce itself tastes great, always. Tenderloin with Schezwan Sauce is also good one but on spicy end. Sizzling Chicken with Garlic Sauce is ‘okay’ in taste but one time the garlic sauce was red (which was better in taste comparatively) and other time it was white.
Fish Shashilk is supposed to be boneless fish with garlic sauce but the fillets were full of bones (yes, I’ve tried twice like stupid and faced same results on both occasions) and again the garlic sauce was white sauce on 1st visit and red sauce on second visit. Not to mention it was kind of weird in taste; couldn’t find anything apart from chunky garlic in it. But don’t try Nasi Goreng; it is nothing but stir fried rice with some veggies. And the worst part is the rice was covered with both garlic and Schezwan sauce which produced some nasty stuff. All sizzlers come with crispy French fries or mashed potatoes. The amount of food is generous; certainly sufficient for two.
The only dessert I had tried so far is Brownies with Ice-cream which comes with a pot of chocolate sauce. The brownie is rich and dense; how a good brownie is supposed to be.
