Myth: To make a good Indian Chilli Chicken one will need to make deep fried chicken first.
Truth: They never tried Roasted Chilli Chicken. Probably they never heard of it anyway.
Honestly the biggest hurdle I face to make Indian style chilli chicken is deep frying the flour coated chicken. I don’t hate to deep fry goodies but I definitely hate to stand in front of the wokful of hot oil. That massive heat from the wok accelerates my heat allergy to the next level.
So What are the available alternatives? Afterall ‘yeh pet ka mamla hai‘.
I knew I had to make it quick yet equally spicy and salivating just like the original Desi Indian Chilli Chicken.
So I opt for Roasted Chilli Chicken Indian style with loads of fresh chilles and dash of extra hot chilli sauce.
No you won’t need oven or anything, just one wok and 10 mins in hand.
That’s all, I promise. Your satisfaction is guaranteed 😎
