Call it corn on the Cob or Grilled corn or whatever suits your mind. But it can’t beat our BHUTTA, charred from all sides with generous squeeze of fresh lime, dash of red chilli powder and black salt that’s all it takes to turn a dull corn into a delicious snack.
Now I need a cup of strong chai 😊
- Cobs of Corn: 3
- Black Salt: 1 tsp
- Red Chilli powder: 1 tsp
- 1 Lime, cut into quarters
- Shuck the corn.
- Grease a metal grill lightly with few drops of oil.
- Place the grill on gastop over medium heat.
- Arrange corb cobs side by side on the grill.
- Grill the corn from all sides by turning occasionally until corn is charred evenly.
- Remove the corn from grill once done. Squeeze juice from quartered lime over the corn and rub.
- Season generously with chilli powder and salt.
- You may sprinkle some chopped cilantro. Enjoy immediately.
