Being a metropolitan city Mumbai welcomes all kind of people regardless of their age, gender or economic status. And this heartwarming nature reflects in the hospitality of the city. People from different region seek for their soul food based on their budgets and the city satisfies them all. The variety of food available here, from every zone of the country, is enormous. Mumbai serve all the local delicacies like Konkani, Malvani, Mangalorean side by side Bengali, Odisha, even from far north-eastern zone.
But that’s not all, the range of world food is as large as the local delicacies. One can walk to a sushi bar to enjoy the delicacy of Japan or a noodle bar for south-east Asian food. There are numerous food joints and restaurants for Chinese and Thai food. What if one is more interested into continental? Another hundred thousand eateries are already there. Exquisite food doesn’t need to be always expensive. All these several types of food are easily available in many road side eateries just side by side any five start restaurants. So eat your heart out wherever you want however you want.

Hi Anindya, I haven't tried many there but I would like to visit again anytime Mahesh Lunch Home, Pratap Lunch Home, (one) Malwani (something) restaurant, Konkan Cafe (way too expensive to visit again though), fresh catch and another farm with the view of sea (can't recall the name right now but the view was awesome). There was another chinese one but I dint find it anything special about seafoods. I visited these on based of other's pick but I loved their food quality. We have a Mahesh Lunch Home here in Pune but the quality is below average to me, I never found fresh fish there and also cooked in too much oil and spices. If you have any recommendations please let me know. I will be happy to visit again
